Volcano Tours Banyuwangi
Mount Raung is a volcanic mount which is famous for volcano trekking. Located in Java Island, Indonesia, one can get to witness an active volcano when hitting this trail. The dimensions of the caldera of Mount Raung alone are 750 m x 2.250 m, or 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) in width, and there are active smokes all around within the graying rim – though the rim color can vary depending on the volcanic activity.
Based on the topographic map, the distance of the Kalibaru route is around 20 km from the base of the mountain at Wonorejo village to the highest peak. According to previous climbing journal, the trail is mostly dominated by steep terrains and dense rainforest, also no water resources

If you arrive via Surabaya International Airport, you can use the train to station Argopuro Banyuwangi City, which is about 6 - 7 hours. Then move to Ijen Crater by bus approximately 1, 5 - 2 hours
If you arrive via Surabaya International Airport, you can use the bus to terminal Brawijaya Argopuro Banyuwangi City, which is about 5 - 6 hours. Then move to Ijen Crater by bus approximately 1, 5 - 2 hours
You can order public transportation via the application on your cellphone such as Grab, Gojek, Maxim, etc. In general, they will accept your order, to go to the Ijen crater
In our suggestion, would be better if you could rent a vehicle that has 4, 9, 14, 20, 40 seaters. An experienced driver will make your trip to Ijen Crater comfortable.
